The AIC Board is comprised of national leaders from the business and academic communities under the Chairmanship of David Harrison.
David Harrison – Chairman
FAICD. Thirty-three years experience in Industrial Relations including ten years as Queensland Secretary Australian Manufacturing Workers Union. Chairman of QMI Solutions Limited (QMI) Director of QMI since 2004. His other directorships include: Australia TradeCoast, Chairman and Director - Industrial Supplies Office (Qld) Limited, Brisbane Airport Corporation Group and QIC Limited.
Jim Walker, AM – CEO
Member of the Order of Australia. Degrees in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science. Post Graduate degree in Engineering Technology and Information Systems. 25 years experience in engineering and manufacturing related sectors, primarily aerospace. CEO of QMI Solutions since 21 August 2006 and Director since 31st October 2006. Director of Mater Medical Research Institute, CRC Integrated Asset Management, Aviation Australia Pty Ltd and Advanced Moulding Technologies Pty Ltd. Member of the Smart State Sub Council for Smarter Services and the Sparse State Working Group. Member AICD.
David Barbagallo
CEO of the Endeavour Foundation, one of Australia’s largest not for profit organisations in the disability sector, Chairman and non-executive Director of Facet Pty Ltd and a Director of Orchidhouse Pty Ltd, a consultancy in strategic planning and performance management of companies. David is also a non-executive Director of Peak 3 Pty Ltd, and non-executive Director of Geogenx Pty Ltd. Previously, David was the Executive Vice President for Solutions Development and Innovation and Market Development, Mincom Ltd and the Chief Executive Officer of the Distributed Systems Technology Centre (DSTC Pty Ltd). He is a member of the AICD, Chairman of the ICT Advisory Group to the Treasurer and Minister for Employment and Economic Development, the Hon Andrew Fraser MP. David is also an Adjunct Professor in IT in the Faculty of Science and Technology at QUT and Chairman of the Future Forum in the Faculty.
Christine Bridges-Taylor
Extensive experience in managing manufacturing entities. She holds a Masters of Business Administration, Bachelor of Engineering Electrical (1st Class Honours). She is a Director and General Manager of B&R Enclosures Pty Ltd and has completed the Owners/Presidents Management Executive education course at Harvard Business School, Boston MA, USA (2003).Christine is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Chair of the QMI Audit and Risk Management Committee and has been a Director of QMI since 2004.
