Innovation Toolbox to help companies innovate and prosper
The AIC in conjunction with the Queensland Government have developed the Innovation Toolbox website (www.innovationtoolbox.com.au). The website assists businesses and individuals to be more innovative by providing a wealth of information on how to innovate, and programs and services available to support innovation. The Innovation Toolbox is designed to accommodate a broad range of businesses, from those just starting on the innovation adventure through to businesses already innovating.
The Innovation Toolbox has a wide range of topics such as ‘Why Innovate’, ‘Access Funding’ and ‘Measuring Success’. Within each topic there is extensive information on issues that a business will need to address to be more innovative, and useful tips on turning a business into an innovative organisation.
The website also contains an ‘Innovation Adventure’ to steer users through the website and the ‘Innovation Navigator’ to help businesses assess their level of innovation and what topics they should access. In addition, the site has a ‘What’s Happening’ section where current seminars, workshops and events are posted and a section called ‘What people are saying’ which posts comments on innovation.
The innovation toolbox is part of the Queensland Government’s, Queensland Wide Innovation Network (QWIN) program. QWIN is a collaborative network of service providers working together to provide innovation support to businesses. Other QWIN programs include:
è Innovation Coaches – providing intensive coaching to help eligible businesses and industry to innovate and grow
è Regional Innovation Support Fund – assisting regional clients to access services in South East Queensland.
In summary, the innovation toolbox is a great new resource for businesses looking to grow their organisation and become market leaders through innovation.
