Government

The AIC demystifies the dilemma of managing intangible assets within government and has significant experience and expertise in delivering management frameworks and processes that have been approved by areas in government to support improved IP and knowledge management.

Core to our service offerings is our experience in information and ICT commercialisation for government, which has realised 60 completed IP licencing projects in three years and assisted numerous departments and agencies in better capturing and managing their IP.

While revenue return can be attached to commercialisation projects, it is not always the core driver in government. There is also an enormous potential for government to leverage its IP to reduce cost, reduce duplication, mitigate risk and to achieve better service delivery outcomes.

If you are a government agency or other public sector agency requiring assistance with either IP management or advice on “how to commercialise”, the AIC can assist you with practical approaches in both management and to engage more effectively with industry and research organisations.

The TechFast program also works with the economic development agencies of local, state, federal and international governments to help drive cultural change within SMEs and research organisations, and to increase the level of collaboration between these two sectors.
