Tomorrow’s Queensland – Toward Q2

Tomorrow’s Queensland – Toward Q2

The AIC has been announced as a Q2 partner in recognition of the programs and projects we deliver which directly contribute to the achievement of Q2 targets.

The Queensland Government’s vision is for Tomorrow’s Queensland to be strong, green, smart, healthy and fair and has framed its 2020 vision around these five ambitions that address current and future challenges.

To acknowledge the shared responsibility in achieving this vision, Premier Anna Bligh launched the Q2 Partners program in 2009. The program recognises businesses, community, industry, non-government organisations and local governments who deliver programs and projects that directly contribute to the achievement of the Q2 targets.

The announcement of the AIC as a Q2 Partner recognises the work we undertake which contributes towards the Q2 ambition of strong which is the creation of a diverse economy powered by bright ideas as well as our contribution to achieving the Q2 target of strengthening Queensland's economy by helping business become more innovative.

Our TechClinic program is a key AIC project which contributes towards these Q2 ambitions and targets.
TechClinics are initiatives that assist the development of innovation and technology in SMEs through targeted collaborative R&D projects with the research sector.

Through the pre-selection of a strategically important issue for a firm, or a group of firms in an industry sector or networked value chain, TechClinics assist participants in understanding the issue, identifying opportunities and implementing innovative solutions from within their organisations and firms.

In their simplest form, AIC TechClinics promote the adoption of innovation and technology to solve problems for firms, and build new industry value chains and networks.

The AIC is delighted to be announced as a Q2 Partner and looks forward to working with the Queensland Government to achieve its vision for Tomorrow’s Queensland.
