"Government program gives creative minds business start" Rural Weekly

The Queensland Government's Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation in conjunction with the Australian Institute for Commercialisation (AIC) is running the one-day workshop in Toowoomba on November 4, to help those considering starting their own business. 

Genevieve Langbien, education manager at the AIC, advises Darling Downs residents to act now.The Ideas2Market Introductory workshop is designed for those who would like to start  a business, novice inventors, or those with early-stage business ideas.It provides a comprehensive introduction to starting a business and taking an innovative idea to market, covering a variety of topics including determining feasibility of your idea, business planning, intellectual property, marketing, accessing funding government grants and more.
