Queensland Academy of Science, Mathematics and Technology

Queensland Academy of Science, Mathematics and Technology (QASMT) is a selective entry public school for high achieving students in Years 10, 11 and 12. It was founded in 2007 and is working in partnership with The University of Queensland. QASMT offers an enriched program to enhance the development of students who have an interest and ability in the related fields of science, mathematics and technology.

The AIC has delivered a ten-week course on entrepreneurship and commercialisation to a group of 20 secondary students as a part of its Ideas2Market program. The course introduced the students to a number of new concepts, given them the opportunity to workshop their own ideas, which they pitched to a panel of experts at the end of the course.
