Russel Mineral Equipment (RME)
RME was formed in 1980’s and since then has provided mine sites across more than 43 countries with countries with an opportunity to greatly enhance the safety and efficiency of grinding mill relining, through the installation of the various elements of the Mill Relining Systems suite of products. The company enjoys international recognition for its success. RME was proud to be inducted into the Australian Export Awards Hall of Fame in November 2009, having won three Australian Export Awards and five Queensland Export Awards.
RME has invested a considerable amount of capital into the development of collaboration with a number of Australian universities; however the company couldn’t reach expected results. AIC was engaged to help RME to explore various technology commercialisation and collaboration opportunities with multiple research organisations and businesses across Australia. With TechFast program facilitation assistance RME were able to re-establish a new and more satisfactory collaborative relationship with their original university partner.
