Danika Bakalich
State Manager NSW
Danika Bakalich is the Government Relations Manager and NSW State Manager located in Sydney. For more than a decade, Danika has led strategic development in both private and public sector organisations across a number of regions including Europe, Asia Pacific and the Australia Pacific rim. Danika has provided leadership for business direction, the professional development of employees and the wider business community by identifying and meeting the current needs of industry members.
A key component of Danika’s professional experience has been developing and implementing key policy, communications strategies for industry and driving global market outcomes for businesses. These strategies continue to underpin industry development in areas such as skills development in relation to economic growth, workforce development needs and industry awareness of, and preparedness to respond to, policy developments and implementation issues.
Prior to joining the AIC, Danika held roles as Policy Adviser to the Australian Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts and as Regional Director (Europe and Asia Pacific) for the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA).
Danika holds a bachelor degree in Psychology and a Diploma of Public Relations.
