University of Southern Queensland (USQ)

The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) has been recognised as a world leader in the fields of distance education and tertiary study initiatives. It is also home to a number of leading Australian research center's including the Australian Centre for Sustainable Catchments and the National Centre for Engineering in Agriculture.

The USQ engaged the AIC to develop and implement a Commercialisation Framework to structure its IP transfers. The Framework has enabled the University to better manage the process of IP protection, alignment of commercialisation activities with a key research focus, and the generation of additional revenue streams.
