The Department of Business and Innovation (DBI) is the Victorian Government's lead agency for economic and regional development. It fosters innovative technologies and practices and provides financial assistance, advice, and networking opportunities in a number of areas from biotechnology to high-end manufacturing. DBI also supports and develops industries by offering advice, financial assistance and networking opportunities. It also facilitates the development of regional and rural Victoria.
