"Innovation will not bubble up of its own accord" Business Spectator
Innovation is one of those words that means different things to different people. It can be bandied about when talking about creative thinking, brainstorming or, design. �Innovative� is also one of the most common adjectives used in resumes to describe a person�s professional attributes.
The very breadth of the term can create challenges for companies that want to get serious about their innovation efforts, but it essentially means making something different than it was before. Improving, changing, reworking - all these words are associated with �innovation�.
